◎ Background/History:Here (The point I'm taking him from follows his storyline minus the romance between him and Yukina - or rather, she didn't fall in love with him, but he very much has a crush on her. Plus it makes Yukina the new Yasehime, whom he helps out with different tasks since then.)
◎ Is the character a hacker and/or do they have a sixth-sense? No, he hasn't.
◎ Personality: Senkimaru is portrayed as the main antagonist and villain for the most part of the game - and it isn't too hard to see why. Senkimaru is full of hatred against the jukkishuu to the point that he desires to kill all of them. He is proud and does not take a loss well, which can be especially seen in Chitose's route, where he is almost obsessed with defeating him after Chitose made him lose once. He formed his two closest friendships - with Shuu and Yachiyo, who suffered from a similar fate as he did - by threatening to kill them, which also shows he really is not too trusting of other in nature. He is capable of cruelty. He uses sentan on other oni to make them his puppets, which strengthens the hatred in one person and makes it slaves to it - fully aware that taking the drug comes with great suffering or even death. He is not above using others for his own gains, even if it comes to cooperating with people he hates, which shows his practical side. He lies to people the whole time he spends at Yase village without apparent hesitation, showing that he is both a good actor and great at deceiving people.
Yet the role of a villain is not entirely befitting for a person like Senkimaru because there is a fatal flaw he did not really calculate in his actions - he is much too sympathetic and caring. Even though he hates the jukkishu, his hatred comes from the fact that he sees the suffering of his people and feels utterly powerless and helpless when it comes to protect or save them from their miserable fates. Despite thinking he should hate the jukkishu, he comes to enjoy his time with them while he stays as a spy in Yase village and the words of apology from one of Yukina's grandpa touches him. When Yasehime has a nightmare in which she kills everyone, he starts feeling bad for her and has to remind himself that he shouldn't feel that way, as she is one of the reasons why his clan is suffering in the first place. The fear of his own people from his powers and their constant wish for him to stop growing up indeed causes Senkimaru to stop growing, his "true appearance" being the one of a child (his growth now is thanks to drinking the sentan.) For someone who isn't too trusting of others, the other side of the coin shows especially strong with his two friends - despite them forcing him to drink the sentan and almost causing a bloodbath because of that, he still cares for them and believes in them, trying to save them from the path they were taking. That sounds a lot less villainous, right?
All in all, Senkimaru is just a person whose traits can work in favor for or against him. Senkimaru shows to be quite reasonable - he is never particularly bothered by the fact that the other oni don't trust him after he changed his mind, even claiming if he was in their position he wouldn't trust himself either. He is also not the kind of person who runs away from his responsibilities, as can be seen that he wants to make up for the things he had done wrong. He is also sensitive and kind as can be seen in his interactions with Yukina, especially in that moment when she cries after finding out the truth about herself. Senkimaru choses to sit back to back with her, not watching her cry but still showing his support that way. He is very loyal, as can be seen with his two friends. Despite wondering if he had chosen the right path, he sticks to it because he had made a promise with them. He is also very devoted to his clan, taking the negative risks into account and is ready to sacrifice himself for it, considering how ready he is to drink the sentan and basically sacrifices his sanity in Kazuya's route. He's got also somewhat of a tunnel view, which leads him to take such extreme measures and dead ends like using Yasehime's letter to infiltrate instead of going for the offered diplomacy. Senkimaru also tends to get frustrated at his own powerlessness, especially at the time were his clansmen were used as soldiers but also died because they did not receive the promised food in return. Senkimaru can also come off as "bratty", but how much of this is genuine or an act is left open (this trait appears a lot less once his body grows), even though it is definitely a fact that he is rather short-temprered at times. He also gets flustered and embarrassed real quick. This often make him a victim of teasing for his two friends, but also for Chitose. Those traits might stem from the fact that he is somewhat shy and has problems to state his honest feelings - or rather, has problems to stay honest with himself unless he is really comfortable around that person.

Healing - As an oni, wounds get healed quickly - small bruises and cuts heal instantly and it is heavily implied that only fatal wounds can actually kill him (or any other oni).
Enhanced physical abilities - As an oni, Senkimaru possesses more physical endurance, speed and strength than a regular human. By how much is left open, though.
Special abilities
Control through voice - When Senkimaru speaks an order, the people who listen to his voice follow this order, even against their will. It seems he needs to "infuse" his voice first and usually uses it wisely, but it happens that he uses it accidentally if he feels particularly emotional. If the person doesn't listen to his voice, though, he is unable to control their actions.
Looking into the heart - Senkimaru is able to look into the memories of other people. This allows him to see things said person can't even remember (like early childhood memories).
Butterfly Dream - Senkimaru is able to put someone to sleep.
Abilities gained through sentan
Claws - Thanks to the sentan, Senkimaru is able to switch into his true oni form. In this form, his hands turn into claws and he can use them as weapons.
Time Control - Senkimaru is able to control time - he is able to slow it down, fasten it or stop it for a short amount of time.

◎ Third-Person Sample: If that had been the idea of a game to the people who had supposedly 'saved' him - he definitely didn't trust this kind of information just yet, experience has told him that you just couldn't trust any strangers, much less such dubious ones - then he had to wonder what kind of taste they had. Sure, if you were careful enough that first stage had not been too hard to accomplish, but was it really the condition to to be saved from apparently having been mostly destroyed by what had been called 'Flamines' and this the test if they were useful enough to fight them? Senkimaru couldn't shake the feeling there was something more going on here, something far bigger that he couldn't grasp just yet, but he had little proof for his assumptions. That and their evidence had been convincing. Very convincing and far too vivid for Senkimaru's taste. He covered his mouth with one hand when he remembered the pictures he was shown - how his clan had been destroyed, his friends, the other silly clan chiefs.... and Yukina.
A pang of guilt rushed through his body. He had wanted to help her, save her, the new Yasehime, who was still far too naive, still in too much danger of being deceived by others. He wanted to pay her back for everything she had done for him, for Shuu, for Yachiyo. After all, she had given them a new path, a new hope and now it looked like he could never pay her back for that. Just when their lives finally had taken a turn for the positive, something like that had to happen. It really was like they were not supposed to catch a break. Now, instead of accomplishing any of those goals, he had failed her miserably, despite his feared powers he couldn't protect her - or really, any of the people who were important to him. It was incredibly frustrating.
All he could do was hope that the others would eventually make it through as well. If he had at least anything, well, anything else but his own existence as a proof of their word, it woould make this waiting situation at least a little better and perhaps a bit more bearable. As things were now, he had to leave their safety in the hands of people he did not know and all he could do for them was live and exist in this place, hoping that he would meet them again.
